Hubble is the leading technology company in the construction and engineering industry. With years of experience under our belt and deep technology expertise in Big Data analytics and Machine Learning, we want to help innovate and level up our industry with technology. I joined Hubble as one of the founding team members and the first software engineer in the company. I worked directly under the CTO to lead, manage and nurture the engineering team as it grows substantially from 2 to 20 people with offices in Singapore and Vietnam.Highlighted achievements:• Led a team of 4 software engineers to implement features for workforce management module and improve the scalability of the system.• Built highly reusable web based React component using Ant Design and Bit, which helps to achieve more standardised UI/UX across all Hubble products and speed up engineers’ development time.• Led the effort to revamp and transition all Hubble apps from Android to React Native to cater for larger user base (supporting iOS) and faster development time.• Coordinated with Product Team to analyse and prioritise product requirements, which translate to more structured development timeline for the engineers in the team.

• Built 3 Android apps to track movement of manpower, machinery and work done for construction companies, which use geolocation and seamless offline mode capability. Adopted MVP architecture with Retrofit, Dagger and RxJava in the codebase.• Developed workforce management module using Ruby on Rails, which is highly configurable and able to automate complex salary calculations for ~10000 active workers.
