Mikella Hansley, is from Swainsboro, GA. She is currently a White House Intern. She has been very involved in her community and colleges through various organizations, clubs, and committees such as JROTC, Criminal Justice club, Phi Theta Kappa, and the hearing panel. She worked directly with the mayor and college president through her role as Vice President and Homecoming Queen of the Student Government and was chosen for the prestigious “All USA” Award from her college president and senators. She received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She had the opportunity to speak to an intergenerational group of women, students from the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy, and Generation Z students in 3 cities in South Africa. Through her speaking career and ministry, she has reached over 12,000 people and prominent ministers. She was the first paid African American female intern for the Police Department and District Attorney in Swainsboro,Ga. She teaches college success workshops because she has had the privilege to have a bachelor’s degree early, with honors, and debt-free (multi recipient of scholarships), and the first to be a CTAE video success story. She is the first African American female to receive two CBCF internships and the first to ever receive one from her hometown, Swainsboro, GA.
