The previous Construction Superintendent recommended me for this role to accommodate forecasted growth during a time of market upswing. I oversee numerous aspects of Earthworks management in the Calgary office for field activities that include (but are not limited to) Winter core hole programs, road infrastructure construction / improvements, bridge construction, SAGD pad earthworks, final grading, and conditioning. I also lead, motivate, and inspire between 4 and 8 direct reports in guaranteeing that projects are completed on time and on budget. KEY CONTRIBUTIONS WHERE I:* collectively lowered YOY costs by rolling out a series of efficiency improvements.* virtually eradicated work conflicts within multi-disciplinary operations by instituting a real-time mapping solution that infused first-ever structure while simultaneously juggling as many as 5 different scopes of work.* slashed inventory matting location turnaround times from a few days to just a few hours by devising and rolling out a centralized matting management solution to support as much as $15 MM in inventory levels.

As an Oil and Gas consultant, Trufax provides construction supervision and management services to the Oil and Gas industry. Trufax offers expertise for all construction regulatory planning, budgeting, contract management, work scope execution, safety, cost control, team supervision, continuous improvement and optimization on various projects. In addition, Trufax provides expertise for industrial camp strategies and planning for remote projects including all logistics and operation. Prior to 2004 Trufax operated out of northern Alberta and provided environmental services to prepare agricultural oil and gas leases for the purpose of reclamation as well as insitu reclamation and remediation alternatives for remote sites. The company provided rental services to the Oil and Gas and agricultural sectors. Trufax also provided line locating services until 2008. Trufax offers over 25 years of Oil and Gas industry experience.

Initially hired as a Field Supervisor to coordinate Earthworks activities across select Northern Alberta sites, I was promoted within 6 months to manage up to 10 Field Supervisors across multiple areas of operation. Coordinated logistics for drilling and earthworks including camps & associated services, trucking, fuel and communications for the winter drilling programs. Worked with procurement groups to contract the vendors and services to support up to 8 drilling rigs. Worked in depth with safety expectations of both company representatives and contractors, promoting a positive safety culture forming a safe working environment through coaching, communication and contractor engagement.KEY CONTRIBUTIONS WHERE I:* extended the typical winter construction season to drill core holes from the standard 4 months to 6 months in Muskeg and from 6 months to year-round in rugged terrain; as a result, this action permitted cost efficient load levelling drilling resources before winter freeze-ups.* was chosen by my immediate supervisor to join a cross-functional group, inventory Northwestern Alberta-based liabilities, and establish a corresponding list so that finance personnel could more easily reconcile liabilities against fiscal documentation.

A fellow Earthworks Construction Supervisor hand-picked me for this role to leverage my subject matter expertise in earthworks, supervision, and coordination on several drilling projects in Fort St. John, Grande Cache, Valley View, Grande Prairie, and Fox Creek areas. Managed construction activities for multi-rig projects including initial site scouting & surveying. Worked with land companies and regulatory bodies to help facilitate quick approvals with regard to all aspects of the drilling projects. This included drilling waste management, site clearing, site construction, cleanup and road maintenance.
