About Mike Loucks, Ceo At See

I co-founded SEE in 1995. I have assembled flight dynamics teams for multiple major space mission projects in Earth Orbit, Cislunar and Lunar space. With my teams, I have planned and executed trajectories for the Orbview-II, IBEX and LADEE missions, leading in the planning and operations of these successful space missions. We have recently supported the SpaceIL's Beresheet lander, Rocket Lab's Photon/Capstone mission, the NASA/Ames Biosentinal lunar flyby mission, and the KPLO Danuri Lunar orbiter.I have been responsible for trajectory design, software development, systems engineering, aerospace consulting, analysis and new business development. With SEE I have executed contracts for secondary payload interface design, small spacecraft design, spacecraft attitude determination, star imager design, instrument pointing, spacecraft operations, orbital mechanics and orbit raising maneuvers. Our customers include major aerospace companies and Government agencies over multiple decades.I have extensive experience in all areas of space mission design and operations, focused on deep space missions including Lunar, Interplanetary and Libration-point mission design. I have skills in high and low-thrust transfer, ballistic and other unusual orbits. I have planned orbit maintenance and raising maneuvers for Earth-orbiting and interplanetary missions and then helped execute these same missions from the control center.

I served as the trajectory lead for Blastoff! which was the predecessor to the Google Lunar X-Prize competition started several years later by Blastoff! CEO Peter Diamandis. Working through SEE, I was the only member of the engineering.
