Development of a scientific and evidence based program for a number of athletes competing over the Iron Distance triathlon. Using a number of tools to monitor and track performance to report on fitness and health improvements to ensure program specificity and maximise outcomes for race day.

Managing a team of Case Managers and Assistant Case Managers in a Corporate Branch where I am directly responsible for driving business outcomes and culture for our staff, intermediaries and insured businesses through the application of the relevant state based legislation and return to work protocols. Day to day operations include business reporting, providing direction and structure for team members (both financial and via injury management), monitoring spend on claims / portfolios and ensuring all stakeholders are supported in obtaining optimal outcomes for their workers compensation claims. Managing anywhere from 5 to 8 direct reports of various expertise and over 100 direct and broker aligned insured corporate and commercial businesses within New South Wales.

Managing a portfolio of injured workers and coordinating the return to work and injury management process. Applying the NSW state legislation (both pre-2012 and 2012 reform) to the case management role to achieve optimal return to work outcomes. Assisted with the return to work process and injury management with reliance upon previous education as both a treating professional and as an employer Work Health and Safety Assistant. Worked on a mix of direct insured businesses and broker aligned businesses with the Medium to Large Corporate branch.

Seconded into a role that involved undertaking a full review of Work Health and Safety documents, Manual Handling training, and task analysis / job description documentation used with return to work planning for staff members of the whole organisation. Also involved undertaking Safety Audits within the supermarkets to review compliance with OHS policy and procedure. The role worked closely with the OHS Manager within the Workers Compensation and Public Liability sector.

Sorting deliveries and inbound retrievals, preparing and conducting stock replenishment jobs such as shelf packing, communicating with customers and dealing with complaints and enquiries and working within a team to tidy and prepare the shop ready for business. Also worked in a position of team leader and allocating jobs to fellow team members.

Development and prescription of exercise based rehabilitation programmes for cardiac surgery outpatients. Delivery of nutritional and exercise education to outpatients to assist with increased independence of daily living and maintenance of health status.

Supervision and prescription of exercise based training programmes to improve the strength and conditioning of junior rugby players. Communication of plans with other medical and technical teams to ensure appropriate training and rehabilitation techniques are applied to these athletes.

Consulting with clients / patients and recording relevant medical histories and exams, completing a number of tests on patients such as weight and height measurements, heart rates, blood pressure and anthropometry, supervised clients through fitness testing and exercise sessions and created exercise programs for clients under the supervision of head exercise physiologist Deborah Patterson.
