Lyric (InSound Medical) was purchased by Phonak as part of a $75 million acquisition. RESPONCIBILITIES: I was promoted to lead the sales and business development, integration and consolidation of Lyric into Phonak US. Led cross-functional initiatives to accomplish global and U.S. objectives including building strong relationships with sales, finance, customer service, clinical training, operations, legal, marketing and HQ located in Switzerland. During this time, we were challenged with relocation, layoffs, system integration, product defects, loss of customer confidence, and internal resistance from the sales team to integrate Lyric into Phonak’s product family, as the new subscription-based solution disrupted their day-to-day responsibilities. RESULTS: Reversed a 2-year decline in sales to achieve 101% to target in the 2nd year and improved gross EBIDA 4% YOY. We achieved these goals through consolidation efforts by training and supporting over 120+ sales representatives in assimilating Lyric into their books of business; wrote new compensation plans, created internal KPIs for sales and marketing, and updated systems to address inventory management at our customer locations that yielded a savings of approx. $200K -
