At present, I am employed by Picture Show Entertainment. I was promoted to supervisor of staff after 4 months of employment, after my manager noticed my positive interactions with customers and attention to detail. I am currently tasked with training employees, resolving staff and customer concerns, managing inventory, and retail sales. Through my experience, I have become adept in overseeing a wide variety of operational responsibilities to ensure outstanding employee performance and customer service excellence. As a result, I am able to time manage tasks exceptionally well. This skill will be very useful in the healthcare industry where multiple situations may arise at the same time.In addition to all of the above, I possess a B.S. in biology from Eastern Connecticut State University. This degree has given me experience in numerous biological fields such as; plant biology and ecology, microbiology, genetics, oncology, and cell biology. All experience was hands on and resulted in numerous accomplishments such as; successfully isolating sulfite oxidase from chicken liver homogenate, successfully identified an unknown bacterium by preforming a series of fermentation and stain tests, and more. This hands-on experience will be invaluable when applied in a healthcare setting. I will have the understanding to be able to properly record patient data, utilize laboratory equipment, and successfully preform tests.
