I am an Architect. I have also been an Associate Principal, Project Manager, CAD Operator, and Coffee Maker depending on the goals that needed to be completed on a given day. As a result, I have expertise in a myriad of disciplines ranging from client communications and business/project management, to sustainable design and historic preservation.Thus far, I have been fortunate to have worked on projects that range in size from under 1,000 square feet to multi-building campus assessments with millions of square feet and with clients that vary from individual entrepreneurs to major universities.I've worn a number of hats in my career - manager, detailer, leader, communicator, marketer, educator, etc. As a result, I have developed the ability to manage multiple projects with complex challenges, varied teams, and disparate, often conflicting requirements. My experiences have taught me much, including that there is still more to learn:- You won't see my name plastered across billboards. I'm a team player, credit is nice - results are better. Even more so when a client returns with more business.- I have Big Ideas; buildings weigh millions of pounds.- Other people have Big Ideas. I provide the expertise to develop and expand them.- I am calm under pressure - I make wind chimes.- I do not fear chaos - I coach youth soccer.- I cannot claim perfection - everyone must know when to ask for help.I love meeting people.
