Supported by parent company Greystone Financial out of New York, we specialize in short term skilled nursing and rehab, long term care assisted living and supportive living, Greystone is a preferred provider in most major accountable care organizations in the markets they serve. As the first marketing, sales and operations vice president for the Midwest Division, my primary focus was identifying, developing and implementing new services to compete more effectively in the ever evolving post acute care and senior housing environment. In addition to my strategic business development responsibilities, I also functioned as an internal leader for corporate operations, mentoring departmental strategic planning and process improvement projects. Revenue increased in 14 facilities in 2016 and 2017, and short term post-acute occupancy increased for the company every single year since 2014. The division broke multiple revenue records in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Then, again recovering from the COVID era, we again broke records in 2022 and 2023. I led the tripling of Medicare and Managed Care census in two focus facilities in 2017. Revenue and census climbed every single month in 2019, and January 2020 saw the highest census since 2014. My main focus is coaching and mentoring field leadership in effective administration, revenue growth and cost management of each business unit. I also negotiate all partnership contracts for the company, which include medical directors, practitioners, Accountable Care Organizations and clinical support providers. -

The results-focused approach appeals to physicians, hospital systems and patients because it is proven to accelerate healing, dramatically reduce complications, prevent hospital readmissions and return patients home sooner. Headquartered in Lincolnwood, Illinois, Legacy currently services 20 skilled nursing and rehab facilities, and over 3,000 Medicare-certified beds in the Chicagoland area under the brand names The Grove, Warren Barr and Avantara, among others. As the first business development executive and second vice president overall for the company, I designed and managed a department of 40 people. I developed a strategic business plan for the entire company and for each business unit, which includes multiples levels of skilled nursing and rehab care, supportive living, and assisted living. I assisted in the identification and viability of future markets and deals by assessing and analyzing the project and market, which includes developing the sales team, communicating the brand change to the customers and public, and quickly assessing the revenue challenges and needs. The diverse network of health care services also offers home health care, hospice care and private care services. Lexington employs more than 2,500 individuals. Lexington Health Network offers a full network of health care services, including but not limited to post-acute care and rehabilitation, medically complex services, skilled nursing, as well as long-term care services, specializing in memory care programming for those with Alzheimer’s and dementia-related diseases. Additionally, Lexington’s senior care services include respite care, assisted as well as independent living campuses.Designed, and then managed, a department of 37 people and personally developed the strategic business plan for entire company. As one of the three legs of senior leadership (operations and clinical), we managed the entire 2000 employee/$100 million+ annual revenue organization in cooperation with COO and Executive committee. Perry Group, Ltd. has a full-service management division headed by the Director of Property Management with full-time asset and property managers under him and localized part-time managers as well. The Director of Property Management supervises this entire staff. Successfully grew the company from a two person operation and into a large operation where was manager of a staff of more than 80 people, from support staff to on-air personalities, while hosting a highly rated radio show. Featured by MSN and PBS, Flames Radio quickly became one of the web’s most popular radio stations. Seized the opportunity to sell the business at its peak in 2001. The organization that took over the radio station merged it with their own existing station, which continues to operate to date. As the president, held job titles such as program director and music director as well. Managed a department head team of eight before selling. To contrast the other business partner's title as CEO / Director of Operations, the president managed the strategic marketing and sales as well as the strategic business development of the enterprise.
