Supervised multi-million dollar military construction (MILCON) projects performed by an international workforce, supporting a 630-acre base and ensuring continuous operation of the Africa Command (AFRICOM) mission.* Expertly managed 21 construction projects with a total value of more than $39M, 10 of which resolved key electrical utility deficiencies by installing six new 1.6kW diesel generators and bolstering more than 40% of the base’s peak demand of 26.9kW during scorching hot East African summer days.* Launched a $20.4M, 30k SF medical/dental facility construction project and advanced the completion by 23% despite initial delays and stakeholder concerns across three continents and five commands.* Monitored gate and perimeter intrusion and physical detection systems (IDS/PDS) in coordination with command post watch standers and deployed repair and installation services to the anti-terrorism force protection (ATFP) systems (vehicle barriers, cameras, and sensors) that protect the base and its nearly 5,000 personnel.* The first of only two Naval Officers to have completed the inaugural Security Reaction Force – Basic (SRF-B) training course and augmented the resident base security forces in the event of security contingencies throughout the yearlong deployment.

Supported a three-star level USMC command element as assistant to the Force Engineer and as the lone Seabee and Navy facilities subject matter expert. Advocated for the interests of the nearly 27,000 Marines under III MEF within the Defense Posture Review Initiative (DPRI) and Okinawa Consolidation (OKICON) programs as well as in annual MILCON and facility sustainment, renovation, and modernization (FSRM) project funding prioritization. Supported theater security cooperation (TSC) commitments and developed contingency plans alongside the logistics and engineer forces of Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines.* Spearheaded strategic planning workshops in support of DPRI-related relocations of III MEF personnel and equipment from Okinawa to bases across the Pacific including Hawaii, Guam, and mainland Japan.* Identified customer requirements for fixtures, furnishings, and equipment (FF&E) and space allocation for a $68M operations center in South Korea, a Host-Nation Funded Construction project.* As the Operations Officer of the logistics staff during exercise Balikatan 2017, tracked and reported to the joint command the status and delivery of all classes of supply to 15 encampments, five engineering projects, 10 health care missions, and a civil-military cruise across the Philippine islands.* As the Senior Engineer for the Combined Marine Component Command during all major Korean Theater of Operations (KTO) exercises including Ulchi Freedom Guardian (UFG) and Key Resolve (KR), leveraged both Seabees and Combat Engineers (both USMC and Republic of Korea Marines) to meet mission planning and contingency engineering requirements.* Coordinated with US Air Force leadership in developing an agreement delineating laydown and ground support responsibilities for the USMC's new F-35 fighter jets on Kadena Air Base, culminating in a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the branches and facilitating the arrival of multiple new squadrons.

Ensured the safe, timely, and accurate execution of construction and renovation projects across all nine major Navy and Marine Corps installations on Okinawa, coordinating with Japanese design and construction firms and translating US needs into locally available resources while resolving schedule, design, customer-need, and material procurement challenges.* Managed 35 construction and renovation projects totaling over $26.5M island-wide.* Directed and delivered the $5.2M Bush Medical/Dental Clinic renovation, improving patient care for the nearly 6,000 military personnel and their dependents who live in east-central Okinawa.* Led a team of six other construction managers who executed roughly $15M in total project work in place as acting Supervisory General Engineer (SGE) while the position was gapped for over two months.* Facilitated an internal business assessment (IBA) and process management and audit program (PMAP) administrative inspection of 80 files and 253 contract actions, earning a passing score and revealing acquisition procedure shortfalls while championing a culture of continuous process improvement.

Assured the readiness, welfare, and morale of 24 Seabees, assigned tasks for camp maintenance and improvement projects both in homeport and on deployment, and ensured the timely delivery of critical building materials to project sites across the nation of Afghanistan.* Managed an extensive $15.5M/621K line-item inventory of Class IV construction material stockpiled on a 7-acre yard, supporting the successful completion of the battalion’s 12 expeditionary construction projects including an equipment hangar, bridge embankment, clinic, detention facility, and several water wells.* As the battalion’s officer in charge of chemical, biological, and radiological defense (CBR-D) operations, led 45 Seabees and the battalion’s pre-deployment qualification efforts through a major field exercise, two command post exercises, and multiple training sessions; CBR-D Operations Course *Honor Graduate*.

Developed project planning documents and transformed mission-critical facility requirements into executable construction packages. Managed the special project program, facility asset portfolio, and five-member self-help troop labor team amidst the backdrop of a $1.4B Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) transition and Department of Defense (DoD) level reorganization of the r wo-star led 8,000-personnel command.* Developed a total of more than $200M in construction projects, including a $65M operating room surgical suite renovation, funding critical renovations integral to the success of the BRAC transition by the Congressionally-mandated deadline of September 2011.* Contributed to the Regionally Integrated Master Plan (RIMP) to help shape the future of NNMC and its transition into a joint DoD hospital, as well as other strategic planning efforts.* Supported Joint Commission life-safety facility inspections as the new Walter Reed was established.* Nominated for Junior Officer of the Year for calendar year 2010.

Conducted corporate sales activities and coordinated contract manufacturing projects in the high-performance computing (HPC) industry, cultivating business development opportunities throughout the Silicon Valley by leveraging scalable OEM manufacturing and logistics services. Supervised the production of custom computer server hardware from assembly and testing through packing and international distribution.* Developed and implemented server appliance manufacturing contracts with five fast-growing tech companies, two of which were soon later acquired by IBM and Oracle.* Invoiced over $591K in drop-shipped customer products and warehoused consignment inventory within the first 16 months.
