Created and developed a Services / Sales strategy and plan to increase Schneider Ireland Services Contracts wins, through incremental sales of electrical power equipment, product refresh and modernisation projects, primarily into the Web Giant, Enterprise, Colo and Telecom Data Centre segments, across all Schneider Lines of Business, e.g. UPS, MV Substations, secondary MV and LV systems, BMS etc. Also liaised and supported European and Global key account managers / directors.

Uk North

New business development, and bid/tender coordination. Sold Mechanical & Electrical Installations across the UK, into End Users, Main Contractors, Project Managers, Cost Consultants and M&E Consultants. Role was heavily involved in tender documents management, take-offs from drawings, specifications assessment, BOQs, and submissions.

Uk Central & North

Additional responsibility to manage Bid and Estimating team responsible for M&E Construction. Worked with End Users, stakeholders, Project Management organisations, M&E Consultants, Cost Consultancy practices and Commercial / Retail / Leisure Managing Agents. Changed behaviour and work winning strategy by empowering bid and projects teams to reduce commodity bidding, increase hit rate, and instilled a winning attitude in the team. Changed focus towards Mechanical & Electrical D&B projects, with more end user work. Strategy team member and trainer for Salesforce CRM across all SPIE UK business units.

Uk Central & North

Business Development, liaising with Bid and Pre-construction teams for M&E Installations. Focus was directed on Project Management organisations, End Users, EPC/Main Contractors. Sectors included healthcare, education, defense, aviation, leisure, pharmaceuticals, telecoms, infrastructure, data-center / computing, finance, process, energy, power generation, retail and fit-out, commercial, hotel and leisure development.

Leadership of Honeywell Building Solutions Business Development team in the North & Scotland District. Drove services sales for Fire, Security, M&E, Facilities and BMS. Set and enhanced team and individual goals and performances. Implemented initiatives for increasing added value sales, and increasing the customer base.

Uk-Wide Remit

Management / supervision of Systems and Services Sales Team in the North, in the specialist PA/VA division of Tyco. Worked closely with specifiers, consultants, M&E contractors and End-Users to generate installation business for Life Safety Voice Alarm, Public Address, Induction Loop, Infrared Communication and Fire Telephone Systems. Also drove Service & Maintenance contracts sales for Fire systems, plus additional equipment upgrades and modernisation initiatives through the Service Sales Team.
