The Client Management (CMP) Program is a multi-year, several hundred million dollar investment that will transform and improve how the Queensland Police delivers services to the public. The program will initially focus on how to improve the management emergency and non-urgent calls from the public but will expand to improving how police supports the public at the Police stations across Queensland. To achieve these goals, the Program will be undertaking significant rationalisation, workforce redesign and modernisation of ICT systems and technologies across the Queensland Police force. • Using a broad TOGAF based approach, worked closely with Data#3’s senior executive and stakeholders to rapidly develop and deliver a set of EA artefacts and standards that covered Business, Information, Application and Technology architecture domains. • Defined & managed the delivery of a multi-year Program of Work resulting from early EA work. • Developed and implemented a project governance framework to ensure new projects are aligned with the Enterprise Architecture framework• Identified, scoped and developed business cases for a number of short, medium and long term initiatives that delivered significant organisational change and productivity improvements• Implemented a rolling program of integration initiatives (eg B2B/B2C/EDI) with Data#3’s key suppliers and customers that have delivered significant operational savings and efficiency gains• Defined the Solution Architectures and provided architect oversight for a number of projects including Data#3’s most recent Ecommerce Portal

• Work with senior technical and business stakeholders and prepare QPS’s 6 year ICT strategic plan. • Work with business and technical stakeholders to help identify, define and analyse their requirements. Use these requirements to define high-level solution architectures, identify organisation impacts, liaise with external (non-QPS) stakeholders, provide high-level cost estimates to be used to inform business cases and cabinet submissions.• Establish a formal Enterprise Architecture framework (based on Qld Govt GEA) and work with internal stakeholders to establish agreed standards, principles and positions. • Develop and deliver presentations and reports to all levels from Executive Management to developers.• Identify innovative concepts and analyse improvement opportunities in all Enterprise Architecture domains including Technical, Application, Information and Business opportunities. • Facilitate business and technical workshops involving internal and external stakeholders. • Work closely with all QPS Solution Architects and ensure that each project aligns with the QPS Enterprise Architecture and each contributes to QPS strategic goals and objectives. • Act as a mentor to the junior members of the EA team and other project Solution Architects.• Act as a trusted advisor to Project Managers and provide impartial and balanced advice to Senior Management.

• I was the lead Solution Architect for QPS’s largest, most complex and mission critical $100m+ ICT project QPRIME. QPRIME is also the most complex integration project within Queensland Government and is the core operational policing system used by over 10,000 operational Police across Queensland. • As the QPRIME Lead Architect, I had oversight and design responsibility for all aspects of the QPRIME solution. This included working closely with numerous project team leaders responsible training, business process, organisation change and data conversion. • In designing the many facets of the QPRIME Architecture, I worked closely with QPS Senior Management, internal business and technical stakeholders as well as numerous external organisations including ICT vendors, Qld Health, Qld Transport, Qld Dept of Justice and a number of Federal Govt departments that QPS exchanges information with.

Completed a number of strategic and tactical initiatives including the development of multi-year ICT infrastructure investment plans, a multi-year ICT program of work and many many more!.

Project Management work for Brisbane City Council and managed the design and commissioning of ICT Infrastructure for their new call centre system.Operations Manager in Suncorp managing a department from(initially) 30 to 70 staff. The department was responsible for a wide variety of systems including a number of mission critical of Internet and Intranet systems.

Spent most time working for Paging Division throughout ASEAN (based in Singapore), US (Florida) and Ireland (Dublin). Undertook a variety of trans-national roles in a number of different countries including Operations Management and Project Management.

Based in Singapore but spent significant time working at Freeports gold & copper mine in Irian Jaya (now West Papua). Developed and commissioned Maintenance Management System.Design of new HR/Payroll/Benefits systems.
