Mike began his entrepreneur career in high school when he ran his own hay crew. Extending into college where sold pots and pans and broke all of the rookie sales records Mike decided he wanted to become an entrepreneur. While playing football for Pittsburg State University, Mike decided to coach in the business community how to build successful teams. His company IntelliTec was born right out of college and has evolved over the years, servicing the areas of leadership, management, human capital, operations, training and assessment needs.Mike has been providing management and operational consulting since the 1980’s both in the U.S. and abroad. He has personally worked with over 30,000 people throughout the last decade implementing his change improvement process. Mike has been invited to speak at numerous meetings, conventions, seminars and workshops, including being the keynote speaker during the European Quality week for Northern Ireland, a delegate representative for Kansas to South Korea, and keynote speaker to the Northern Irish Parliament. Mike is noted as the Author of his five training programs; Leadership Execution, Executing Teams, Leadership Through Supervision, Productive Work style and Who Needs Service?Mike earned his B.S. in Psychology and Administration from Pittsburg State University and completed his Masters Degree in Management from Baker University. Mike also earned his CM&A (Certified Mergers & Acquisitions) certification so that he could better assist clients facing complex and perplexing issues. In addition, Mike is also a graduate of the Hogan Quality Institute where he studied the three Gurus of Quality, Deming, Juran and Crosby. Mike was selected four times as a collegiate All-American; distinguishing him in academics, track and football, and still holds several team records. He has been inducted into his Universities Athletic Hall of Fame. Mike is also active in his community, where he coaches youth track, soccer and basketball and serves on the Board of Directors for his school youth Athletic Program. Mike also serves on the board of directors for Marillac, a community leader in the treatment of abused children and adolescents.Mike is founder of MB Meek Group, a business consulting firm based in Kansas City, a partner with W.
