In this role, Michael was credited with securing various contacts with value ranging from $3M to $12M with key clients including Burt’s Bee’s, Unilever, Nestle, and Keurig. He also generated revenue of $4M annually by improving exposure and ensuring successful execution of the Nestle coffee program on a global level through penetration of 13 different markets in Asia.From 2013 to 2017, Michael served as General Manager of Retail Solutions with Innerworkings, where he directed business operations, including strategic initiatives, key programs, logistic activities, and staff development with an emphasis on accomplishing organizational objectives. While in this role, Michael saved the company 15% in costs through the implementation of strategic cost control measures. He also was recognized for winning a global business contract from Energizer for the development, procurement and distribution of batteries across the globe, increasing revenue by $8M annually. Between 2007 and 2013, Michael was the Principal at DB Studios, Inc., where he forged strategic partnerships and drove sales and marketing activities as well as day to day operations, maximizing company revenue. In this position, Michael was instrumental in enabling the DBS team to create award-winning retail displays and innovative merchandising solutions by providing guidance and expertise regarding retail display industry.In his early career, Michael held positions in merchandising, event marketing, production management, project management and sports marketing.
