I am a creative writer and a big U.S hip-hop fan. Combining two of my greatest passions has led me to music journalism. Initially a hobbyist; interviewing popular rappers quickly evolved into album reviewing and an ever expanding portfolio including recognised artists from other genres. These have been published in widely circulated online magazines and generated global interest. I am a proud recipient of the Royal Television Society Bursary Award 2019. I continue to practise videography whenever possible, having released dozens of low budget music videos for myself and other artists across a range of genres, along with trending vines, comedy shorts and more recently, reviews. I have worked to a client brief and also utilised environment inspired film making: collecting footage whilst exploring location, light and sound, before piecing it all together to form a working narrative, using the most basic of equipment and software. This has consistently engaged audiences and generated excellent feedback.I studied Creative Media and Production at the University of Huddersfield - 2019 - 2023.I was a Live Events Broadcaster/Presenter at the University of Huddersfield's student radio station; Radio Hud with a two-hour slot on Wednesday mornings: 11:00-13:00.
