My entire professional life has been devoted to safeguarding the well-being of individuals and families.As one of only 1% of law enforcement officers nationwide to graduate from the rigorous F.B.I. National Training Academy in Quantico, Va., I took an oath to “serve and protect,” spending the first 20 years of my career protecting the physical well-being of the community through my roles as 911 dispatcher, correctional officer, street cop and, eventually, as Captain.After a rewarding career in law enforcement, I followed my dream of helping individuals and families achieve financial well-being when I became a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and, in 1996, founded what is today Integra Shield Financial Group LLC. I have always had a thing for people and for numbers—in that order. My work as a Certified Financial Planner ™ professional is the culmination of the desire to help people design the lifestyle they want to live.
