Looking after the customer facing website for Wonderbly. We create personalised children's books.Ran the team that looked after the CMS and node/react based front end website as well as being main developer on the Rails based backend e-commerce system (solidus) deployed on heroku.

Lead a team of in house developers - worked with the broader digital team to deliver a number of projects.The major project we helped deliver was the Customer Experience project - this consisted of working with teams across the RA to replace our ticketing, membership and CRM systems.Our team also looked after a number of different products - from the main content site, our online collection, summer exhibition explorer (browsing and sales of artworks in the summer exhibition), our ticketing and membership purchase pathways (built on top of Tessitura) through to internal apps and projects such as an exhibition management tool.Our tech stack was mainly Ruby + React hosted on AWS.

In time at MOO I was in two main teams and was promoted to Senior Software engineer half way through my time there.*E-commerce - Money Team* Full stack responsibilities as part of the team responsible for user specific parts of the MOO platform - checkout, cart, account details, shipping options etc. Tech stack ranges from java services and legacy php on the backend through to react/redux on the front end. *E-commerce - Browse team*Full stack developer with responsibilities including setting up and maintaining java based CMS system (Magnolia), implementation of cross crew design system, front end responsive re-design and managing migration to AWS. In addition our team looks after various backend services (pricing and product) and some legacy php code that manages our old CMS and tooling.On top of this lead the front end guild (cross crew initiative to maintain standards) as well as mentoring and guidance in other areas.

Full stack developer at Mammal building educational tools for teachers. Javascript from top to bottom (node, angular, couchdb, redis). Additional work done using react with node backend for other clients.

Intensive Web Development Course. Worked with a wide range of languages and learnt how to build modern Web Apps. Main focus was Ruby on Rails coupled with Javascript.

Coach, mentor and support for the immersive course that followed my one. Produced lesson plans and delivered them as part of the Web Development Immersive course. Provided in class assistance to students, assess homeworks produced and provide one to one tuition.

Part of market leading structured credit broker desk dealing with interbank trading of derivative. Key technology feature was Java based trading platform. Challenges included merging team and technologies after buyout by Inter Continental Exchange.

In charge of the US investment grade structured credit derivatives index book. Dealt with client trades as well as internal hedging. Built analytics to keep track of complex risk exposure. Ran training sessions and made research to educate internal sales people and clients.

Memeber of the III top ranked research team. Ran analytics and wrote research for both internal traders, sales people and external clients. Part of the group that helped develop the first credit derivative indices. Published articles on the many new products developed in the credit derivatives space such as FTDs, options and tranches. Built out financial modelling using visual basic as well as building out SQL databases and creating and running reports.
