Oversaw a budget of $25M and an internal staff of 90+ communications executives globally. Overhauled the function in first 6 months including rebuilding global leadership team by bringing in 5 new VPs and backfilling nearly 15 empty staff positions in SF Bay Area. Additional accomplishments include:•Implemented the first global communications campaign in more than 10 years based on audience segments vs. products•Launched an annual global measurement and brand awareness program that acted as the baseline for all of marketing measurement in 2016. The results of the survey shaped FY2017 marketing plans and investments•Teamed with product marketing to rewrite the company narrative and build a global message training program to ensure consistence•Rebuilt relationships with top-tier global media – some of which had not talked to Oracle in nearly a decade. As a result, significant increase in favorable, on message coverage by the likes of FT, Bloomberg, CNBC, WSJ and NY Times.•Reframed the social strategy to begin using social platform for native story telling vs. promotion and amplification•Launched a digital executive communications program that involves social listening & responding to key customer accounts, influencers and media to drive ongoing, systematic engagement•Implemented “Paid, Owned, Earned, Shared” integrated communications programs to tell the Oracle Cloud strategy across a variety of communications channels in a tightly choreographed program.
