My name is Mike and I am a leader and communicator with decades of measured results in a variety of industries including Digital Marketing and Front-End Web Development.I recently worked at Fort Garry Industries as a Digital Marketing Coordinator. There I was responsible for nearly every facet of the company’s digital footprint, including social media (where I doubled the company’s Facebook audience from 2000 to 4000+ followers), Google Ads and Analytics campaigns, email campaigns, website maintenance (including creating an online clearance centre as a precursor to an eCommerce solution), designing and building the company Intranet, event planning and branch vendor training. My previous position as an Assistant Manager of Digital Production at Investors Group was a rewarding career highlight (among many). I am patient, unflappable, positive, resilient and professional and I am bolstered and empowered by change. I will always find a way to connect with, and motivate a team and ultimately, the brand and clients I serve.I led a team of three talented Front-End Web Developers, while serving as the representative for our department in Winnipeg with our business and content owners, the Marketing team, and the Digital Development team in Toronto. I also jumped in as a Developer when needed, as I was uniquely qualified to update a number of our Intranet, social media and external marketing platforms. Those I work with have come to depend on me and seek me out, especially when deadlines are tight, expectations are high, or precision and effective communication is required. Give me the biggest toolbox or grandest opportunity and I’ll inspire and innovate. Give me reality and I will do likewise. I don’t discriminate between existing, high profile projects and the day-to-day routine updates that serve as the staple of any brand’s palette.
