I have 25+ years of experience ranging from founder and principal consultant for my own firms, to interim “key person” leadership roles with mid-level to Fortune 500 organizations, to full time Senior Director positions with Microsoft. I’ve been able to align technological and corporate strategy, lead sizable management teams to drive service improvements, and set/exceed aggressive business/organizational goals. Typically my leadership has enabled: - Implementation of advanced Agile and LEAN development methodologies, improvements to product quality and output for corporate SAP and ERP systems (Sky Consult, Rompetrol). - Interim leadership and “turnaround” services for cross-industry clients, including Umpqua Bank, Group Health, Aegis Senior Living, P2 Energy Corp, and many others. - Technology overhauls for mergers & acquisitions (various). - Massive corporation-wide source code reengineering efforts and establishment of managed services, e.g. consolidating all of Microsoft’s software development tools, source code, and other critical internal systems. - Successful development and management of multi-billion dollar systems, e.g. Microsoft’s OEM sales and licensing system which supported the entirety of the company’s OEM business. - Building/leading support and development teams, e.g. a team responsible for support, security and maintenance of all Microsoft licensing applications (total revenue exceeding $15B).
