Supported multiple Product Development Project (PDP) and Technology Development Project (TDP) teams. Process owners manage critical timelines to deliver robust processes to project teams resulting in successful design transfers to manufacturing. Process owners are also accountable to meet contracted yields, cycle time and cost targets for the franchise. Work with research and development, project management and operations to meet all requirements for commercialization of medical devices.

Technical responsibility for precision coating pilot line at the corporate headquarters. Work in cross-functional teams with product developers and manufacturing technology engineers, scaling up new products and processes for deployment to full-scale manufacturing.

Rotational position designed for high-potential engineers to understand the global supply and technology chain of the company. Charter and lead projects in product development, U.S. manufacturing, and international manufacturing. Develop product and process understanding through statistical methods and experimentation. Reduce cost, improve quality and productivity in all aspects of the manufacturing organization. Establish a global network of resources, including corporate scientists and international manufacturing managers. Rotations included a 6 month assignment in Asia.

Oversight for six series of products amounting to more than thirty different customers. Technical responsibility for seven manufacturing lines including coating, laser imaging, lamination and rotary converting. Develop and lead Six Sigma/LEAN projects to improve quality, service, productivity, and cost. Provide manufacturing expertise on new product and new technology programs.

Integral team member on a cross-functional team, working to adopt and deploy safety guidelines around machine guarding. Champion projects from OSHA regulations, through initial concept and prototyping, to final design and implementation. Collaborate with senior engineers on material selection, with machinists on manufacturability and installation, and with management and accounting for budget.
