I believe that everyone deserves to go home safe and well to their families, at the end of the working day.An effective behavioural safety strategy is the only way an employer can guarantee they have done everything possible to achieve this. Safe equipment, safe systems and processes are essential prerequisites, but the behaviours of people cause the majority of injuries and fatalities.Behavioural Safety is my passion. Developing your behavioural safety strategy around my IOSH approved Behavioural Safety programme is the starting point. Colleagues working safely because they want to and because they are proud to is your endpoint.Over 27 years operational experience, successfully managing teams in multi-site FTSE100, FTSE250 and CAC40 businesses, has provided me with a wealth of experience, not only in establishing effective risk assessments and safe systems, but more importantly, integrating behavioural safety into the overall business strategy, to reduce injuries and increase colleague engagement.

National

Established a Group safety team supporting the Retail, Merchant and Supply Chain parts of the business during a period of massive expansion and acquisition for the Group. Lead a behavioural safety programme to move the historical business approach from one of needing to Stay Legal to one of wanting to Stay Safe. Significantly raised Group engagement levels in safety and reduced all injuries during this period. Embodied the vision of everyone returning home safely at the end of each day, into the Group Cornerstones.

Established and managed a national team of H&S Advisers to support the newly integrated ATS Euromaster outlets, whilst working with Michelin and Euromaster to share best practice and develop the safety strategy across Europe.

Established and managed a national team of Environmental Health Advisers to support the S&N Retail pub, restaurant and hotel businesses and management in all areas of food safety, health and safety and fire safety.
