As the Vice President of Strategic Sales at AppDirect I overseeing strategy and operations, I lead our team to deliver on our mission to be exceptional partner advocates and do our part to empower our partners as they look to be the foremost authority for their clients’ technology needs. As a leader, I work with my team to improve business processes, develop innovative partner and vendor programs to help our clients succeed.With over a decade in the industry, I believe that being stagnant can stifle business growth. Because of this, I spend time learning about new sales and marketing trends so that AppDirect can be ahead of the curve, and so can our partners. Whenever I find innovative solutions that work, I am ignited to train others on learning and take pride in seeing those approaches land in success.Outside of AppDirect, I enjoy exercising, woodworking, volunteering with JDRF who are working to help find a cure for juvenile diabetes, and taking it old school with some super Nintendo with my family.

    While at AppDirect after the TBI Inc. acquisition, Mike was responsible for multiple departments, including the following. Non-Traditional Advisor Channel. - Here, his team focused on the converging technology channels: MSPs, VARs, DMRs, Private Equity Groups, Energy Consultants, Franchisers, and GPOs. Mike was responsible for starting new channels within the Contact Center, VAR, MSP, and enterprise-focused Trusted Technology Advisor.Omni Center is a BPO (Inbound and Outbound) focused on supporting the supplier & trusted advisor community by developing contact center-centric initiatives for the advisor community as an alternate source of revenue. This team also takes live inbound calls to support advisors moving upmarket or still learning new technology. Enabling them with this crawl, walk, run strategy paved the way for new blood into the channel. Sales Development Representatives: Mike brought this idea to AppDirect in the first week of the acquisition, "The Mouse Trap Meeting," a multi-touch strategy intended to keep a consistent touch with Advisors when certain timelines trigger an interaction. We re-engaged many of the dormant advisors by implementing. We contacted new engagements repeatedly, showing how much we care about them. This focused AppDirect's internal staff on the advisor community and created an "Advisor First" mentality in our onboarding. Active Advisor Strategy—Mike owned the Active Advisor number. By setting a vision and working across the different department leaders collectively, we turned the ship around on the number of advisors selling, decreased the time to first sale, and enabled a more conducive setting for new advisor relationships.
