One of the most important qualities I think a person should have is the ability to learn. Everyday I encounter situations where I can either choose to grow in my understanding or rely on what is comfortable. I will not settle for something that solves some of the requirements. There is always a way, there is no impossible. The ability to learn can make or break a programmer. Technologies, methods and resources change at a rapid pace. Continual learning enables me to find and communicate the best solution available. When I work on a project I want to get to the very essence of the project for the best outcome possible. I am comfortable in my abilities but understand stagnation is death. I am an apprentice of my peers while being a master among them.
