My First Job……? Recruitment Consultant for Randstad at the age of 22……three months later, I was sacked as not being a ‘capable 360 recruiter’. I can’t argue the decision, I was useless then, especially at sales in a highly competitive market, in a cut throat industry in the UK. It did however, have a profound effect on the path I was driven to carve out and shape the man I am today.Today, after several years accumulating additional life experience working for other large global recruitment firms, I have now teamed up with Synergie, whom I am incredibly grateful for giving me the keys and trust to do it ‘my way’ here in Australia. Since then, Synaco has been fortunate to attract some outstanding individuals, striving to live Synaco’s core values in everything we do, characterised by going above and beyond in the quest to deliver a unique solution that is every bit as agile, as it is capable in its delivery. In six years, Synaco has continued to grow its suite of services, technology offerings and its ability to effect change at a local level with employees, whom I believe, are truly empowered to put their own stamp on the service they deliver and encouraged to be proud of. As a national recruitment firm with 200% growth year on year, I get asked what next…..? My honest answer is to cultivate opportunity for my existing employees, and new hires, but staying true to what we stand for and not compromise ourselves in the quest to be an outstanding service provider. Staying real and true to this path is at the very core of what is ‘next’; of course though, complimented by some progressive minds to keep us current and forward thinking in our evolving industry sector.‘Today’s Talent IS Tomorrow’s Success’ and we collectively at Synaco, own the responsibility of making that happen…..with a whole bunch of fun along the way I hasten to add.
