Experienced Process Improvement Professional with six years of training and implementation experience. As the Continuous Improvement Coordinator, I have trained over 100 colleagues in the use of CI tools and theories such as Waste Elimination, 5S, A3 and DMAIC problem solving tools. Working with the manufacturing and engineering teams, we successfully transformed the manufacturing process from batch to flow. Realizing a 56% reduction in elapsed time with increased throughput. We redesigned work cells to reduce waste of motion by 65 %, by repositioning equipment, adding point of use tools and using a Kanban system for daily consumables. Designed and implemented a Supermarket Pull system along with Daily Visual Management tools. Used the TWI Job Instruction method for creating standard work and training throughout the organization. Prioritized, planned and facilitated Kaizen Events with positive results while promoting daily improvements.

During my tenure at Switchboard Apparatus, my roll has changed several times. Within my first year of employment, I was promoted to Foreman. As the company experienced tremendous growth and restructuring, we moved to a much larger facility. With that move came another advancement to Shop Superintendent. Overseeing all phases of production and manufacturing for 10 years. I had been directing production, safety, continuous improvement, employee development. I was responsible for coordinating production operations as well as the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, which I had developed throughout my tenure with Switchboard Apparatus. In my position as Shop Superintendent, I have honed and utilized my skills, and have a demonstrated record of success, motivating a gifted team of employees to optimize performance. We have reorganized the way the product is manufactured to enhance efficiency and production numbers. We have developed cross-training programs to ensure limited downtime. As part of the management team at SAI, we have realized the need to further enhance our continuous improvement efforts. Due to my many years of manufacturing experience & enthusiastic approach to continuous improvement efforts, I have been offered and accepted the roll of Continuous Improvement Coordinator at SAI.I look forward to the challenges and rewards of my new position and truly believe that every day is a new beginning.
