Managing Director for ManTech Saudi Limited overseeing business operations support for all ManTech employees in Saudi Arabia. As President of Olgoonik’s Logistics and Operations Division supervised the General Managers of Olgoonik Logistics, Olgoonik Management Services, and Olgoonik Aerospace Services. Improved financial, operational, and business development performance.

Reorganized struggling 8(a) company to improve operational relationships with existing customers and established a new business acquisition process geared towards winning competitive contracts. Won a competitively bid subcontract with KBR on LOGCAP III to provide equipment maintenance support to the US Army in Iraq. This contract enabled OL to become compliant with the Business Activity Target and was able to gain a two-year, sole source bridge contract from the USAF to provide fuel management support at Columbus AFB, MS. Negotiated commercial contract with CH Robinson Worldwide to support one of their major clients.

Organized new business development efforts for base operations, JOC/SABER, logistics and contingency operations, and emergency response opportunities. Provided vehicle maintenance and supply operations subject matter expertise for proposal support. Served as overseas advance team leader for project start up on the Global Contingency Construction Contract in Djibouti, Africa. Led capture team that won BOS contract at Ft. Rucker, AL. Initial capture manager for successful pursuit of DPW contract at Ft. Benning, GA and Ft. Wainwright, AK.

Made frequent contact with U.S. Army, Air Force, and Navy customers building and managing relationships in order to understand customer priorities. Made numerous trips to Afghanistan, Djibouti, Africa, and Iraq to explore new business opportunities and establish local business connections.

Started operations in Baghdad prior to cessation of war, restored all utilities and set up life support sustainment for CPA at the Presidential Residence in Baghdad. As DOL in Djibouti, improved processes in all logistical support areas. Significant improvement was made in resupply of food products from Bahrain and procurement and material support for KBR operations. Supervised aircraft loading operations, ground transportation, Military supply and warehousing, equipment maintenance, purchasing and material control, ammunition storage, and property accountability for USMC, Navy, Air Force and Army customers, many of which were Special Operations personnel.

Set up a business acquisition program for an Alaska Native Corporation that was previously used to obtaining direct award contracts. Acquired approximately $50 million in new business and $55 million in contract extensions during this period of transition from the 8(a) program. Improved account management and expanded business with customers at NASA, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, NIMA, DIA, and DHHS facilities.

Led business acquisition and business execution functions for this start-up business unit. Prepared winning bid for the $11.7 million/5-year fixed unit rate contract to provide fleet vehicle and equipment maintenance for 700 pieces of equipment owned and operated by the Houston Airport System. Led organization through successful transition and contract start-up. Established innovative employee incentive program, which was tied directly to contract performance requirements.

Consistently received student evaluations above 92%.

KY DPW/DOL BOS A76 competition.Project Manager, Kaposvar, Hungary, Led organization of 200 expatriates and 1400 Hungarian employees providing O&M and Logistics contingency support services for U.S. Army and Air Force personnel at five base camps. Scope of work included minor construction, facility O&M, and logistics services on this $100 million/year task order. Deputy Project Manager, Lukavac, Bosnia, Second-in-charge of an organization of 600 expatriate and 3500 Bosnia employees providing $350 million/year construction, O&M, and logistics contingency support services to U.S. Forces throughout Bosnia. Led support organization providing resources to U.S. Navy Seabees, USAF Red Horse, and Brown & Root contractors who built 34 base camps in remote areas of northeastern Bosnia during an extremely harsh winter. Director Materials and Procurement, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Managed a combined organization providing total logistics support for this $55 million/year contingency BOSS contract. These activities included procurement, subcontracts, material control, expediting, warehousing, equipment maintenance, property administration, traffic management, and document control. Operations Coordinator and LOGCAP Planner, Houston, TX, Managed the Houston Support Group providing human resources, project controls, finance and administration, and procurement and materials support to overseas contingency contracts. Site Manager for the Somalia Equipment Retrograde project which earned 100% Award Fee. Prepared logistical support plans for LOGCAP operations in Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
