CurrentI believe this to be my most enjoyable venture to date. My brother Dan and I co-founded DME Sports in 2015 and have been rapidly dominating the basketball, soccer and volleyball training scene in the greater Daytona Beach area. We built a 47,000 square foot facility that is considered state of the art. A synthetic soccer field is also now operational on our extended property. We also have created DME Sports Academy, a year round basketball and soccer training academy that includes academic courses as well as high level sports specific training for the serious soccer and basketball athletic community. Our students attend Warner Christian Academy during the day and train afternoons and weekends on the DME Sports Campus. We presently have more than 45 athletes enrolled from more than 10 countries and 12 states. Although we are having fun I doubt that we will ever turn a profit on our venture. This is more about giving back to the community and to the sport that we both grew up to love and play. In 2016-2017 we expect to award more than $400,000.00 in scholarships to athletes unable to afford our level of training. DME Holdings a company which I have operated successfully for more than 30 years has made this kind of giving a reality.
