I am currently a Senior at the University of Wisconsin-Stout majoring in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management. I have been passionate about the Restaurant Industry since I was a Junior in High School. I have done culinary competitions and have been working in the restaurant industry for a little over seven years now. I have mainly worked in fine dining restaurants. I was mainly in charge prepping and executing dinner service for the grill or saute station on the line. At my most recent job, I was the one who did most of our filleting and breaking down of our fishes, meats, and poultry. During dinner service I was able to work in any of the spots on the line including expo. I was used versatility depending on who was in that day and night. I was always the first to show up to work and the last to leave. With my degree, my goal is to work for a cruise line in the restaurant or hospitality area. There are so many ways to learn about different cultures from this kind of experience, not only through the guests but also through co-workers. My other goal is to eventually open up a restaurant of my own. This has been a dream of mine ever since I can remember and I am determined to make this dream come a reality.
