Responsible for leading a 65+ global team of highly skilled multi-disciplinary engineers, to support, influence, deliver the required the technical and commercial outcomes on multiple concurrent projects relating to development of a diverse range of ‘lab on a chip’ microfluidic point of care in vitro diagnostic products.Extensive experience (20+ years) in people development, performance management, organisational design, change management, holistic engineering, and full cycle product development, including requirement definition, concept generation, product design and development, risk management, cost modelling, Design For Manufacture, and design verification under a Quality Management System.Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt with demonstrated competency employing visual dashboards and metrics, data driven tools and methods, to deliver holistic design and process solutions to achieve high quality, low cost, high volume manufactured microfluidic point of care products.

Responsible for managing multi-disciplinary engineering/project teams across multiple sites, to deliver products for multiple global markets, from initial concept through to launch, including commercial aspects. Also work with broad team of internal and external cross functional stakeholders, to deliver quality product outcomes on time and efficiently, to meet customer expectations, market requirements, and evolving internal and industry standards.

Responsible for developing an engineering capable team in China, including recruitment, growth, and development, whilst delivering China market-specific projects in parallel.
