Led the spiritual formation and organizational development of a decidedly Christian high school ice hockey team built on the axiom of "Believe and Finish". The four pillars of the program were established as: 1. Honoring the game, including the opponents and officials, 2. Unselfish play, 3. Supporting one another on and off the ice, and, 4. Strong works habits. With those in place, an outstanding staff of assistant coaches worked relentlessly to model those attributes and to lead the team to achieve excellence on the ice.

Responsible for all campus fundraising, community affairs, strategic communications, media relations, government affairs, alumni relations, and marketing. • Deployed as Dean of University Relations as one of ten Campus Opening Team members from November of 1999 to September of 2000.• Title was changed in September of 2000 to Dean of Institutional Advancement to provide transparency in the community while staffing the Vision 2006 Campaign Committee and Chairman, Pete Coors. • Served as a member of the campus leadership team, budget committee, compliance team, and payroll committee • Provided interim co-leadership for the campus during an unplanned Presidential vacancy from 2003-2005.• Beginning in 2005 also served as the Chief of Staff to the President• Invited to stay on as adjunct faculty to teach Fundraising and Philanthropy course from 2008-2019.

Maintained responsibility for a student body of nearly 10,000, staff of 200 and an annual operating budget of $5.3million. Promoted to Dean of Students in May of 1990.

Led the establishment of an ACHA intercollegiate ice hockey team, while also serving as Dean of Students. With the support of dedicated, non-scholarship student-athletes, an outstanding staff of assistant coaches and student volunteers, the team qualified for the 1991-92 American Collegiate Hockey Association National Championship Tournament in Chicago. The team later went on to win the Northeast Collegiate Hockey Association Championship for 1993-94 season. Most importantly, many of the alumni of the team have gone on to have fulfilling family lives and successful careers. The program transitioned to NCAA DIII for the 1996-97 season. Many of those same players have stayed connected with each other and have become involved in supporting their community with their time, talent and treasure.
