I have worked in the sports, primarily football industry for around 25 years. During that time I have through my own companies been a retailer, licensee and owned a branded sports products distribution business. I have also worked both as an employee and interim manager/consultant for football clubs from the Premier league to the Ryman's League, mainly running merchandise businesses and other commercial areas. I also worked as M.D of a full-time National League club. I am now working mainly through my company, primarily in retail franchises & concessions plus some on-line and seasonal sales. Prior to that I worked in sales & marketing with blue chip companies to Sales Director. The formative part of my career was with an FMCG grocery manufacturer, I have also worked in the Toy and Model/Hobby industries. I have owned my own companies since the 1980's and through that experience have added a range of skills, financial, commercial, administrative and legislative that can almost never be acquired working as an employee or in larger organizations.I currently have two voluntary capacities, as a Business Mentor & Trustee Board member with "Kent Foundation", helping young people with start up and early stage businesses. Also as an Enterprise Advisor with "The Education People", Careers & Enterprise Co.
