Served as the Youth & Family Pastor of a 501c3 non-profit Christian Church in Columbia, SC for 120 people. Responsible for the overall growth of the Youth & Family Ministry which includes: providing leadership through effective communication, budgeting, human resources, risk management, critical thinking, contract negotiation, community outreach, and event planning.-Built a team of 9 qualified volunteer youth workers to plan and execute over 150 events.-Forged relationships with 20 volunteers to create, organize, and implement 3 separate teenage summer camps with a budget of $30K; resulting in safe and successful camps for 200 teens.-Helped conceptualize a youth camp for 200 teens in South Africa. Participated in a planning team that orchestrated and executed all logistical aspects of the camp. Personally motivated 14 individuals to self-fundraise and serve at the camp with me.-Spearheaded an effort to serve the needy by assembling a team to plan, procure donations, and execute annual Christmas toy drives and Thanksgiving food baskets that benefited over 150 families.

Responsible for training medical providers on how to utilize and seamlessly integrate new software solutions into the patient care environment to improve patient care and provider efficiency.-Spearheaded the implementation of a new software program for the Army (e-profile) across two military installations by coordinating with developers, end users, and management.-Coordinated with Department heads and providers to provide training and introduce Dragon dictation software to streamline the medical providers ability to capture patient notes in less time. -Helped to forge a partnership between the DoD Electronic Health Record (EHR) and the VA EHR to give providers in both organizations the ability to access pharmaceutical and lab data for patients.

Served as the Commander of the Warrior Transition Unit on Fort Jackson, SC. Oversaw a team of inter-disciplinary team of 23 employees to provide comprehensive medical rehabilitation to 117 wounded veterans and their families to help them heal. Used leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills to manage human resources, logistics, budgeting, procurement, task management, and risk management.-Volunteered to be 1 of 6 pilot sites to test the Automated Comprehensive Transition Plan; communicated with developers and end users to improve the program; chosen to personally assist with Army wide implementation by providing a training presentation to 300 leaders.-Obtained funding and coordinated the logistics to move the unit into a permanent facility.

Responsible for human resources, budgeting, upgrading technology, procurement, outsourcing patient care, risk management, quality management, renovating facilities, medical logistics, and efficient patient care. -Managed 5 dental clinics with 120 employees and a $3.4M budget to provide care to 65,000 Soldiers-Implemented the integration and installation of 35 digital x-ray devices; increased patient throughput, reduced supply costs, and improved dental care by providing higher quality images.-Established a network of civilian providers to handle 150% increase in workload; improved the dental readiness of Soldiers in training to 99.9%, 5% above the standard.-Pitched a plan to renovate an old dental clinic and persuaded DENCOM to devote $5.2M in funding.

Responsible for human resources, procurement, logistics, maintenance of all equipment, and risk management.-Supervised maintenance and logistical support to 37 vehicles and 35 medical sets valued at $6.6M with a team of 30 Soldiers.-Reduced logistical lines of support by 180 miles through establishing a medical supply warehouse; line units were able to reduce the number of items needed to be ordered by 30%.

Managed a 40-bed field hospital with 85 employees, providing emergency medical evacuation and treatment support for 5,000 Soldiers in Iraq. Responsible for human resources, medical logistics, patient transportation, blood supply, modular facility management, site selection, and risk management.-Organized the preparation, loading, and deployment of $5M in equipment on short notice.-Provided treatment for over 1700 patients in 4 months of combat with a 94% return to duty rate and 0.05% fatality rate; evacuated over 100 patients via air and ground to receive definitive treatment.
