As Creative Lead I’m responsible for leading the global brand identity, developing new brand visuals, concepts & media. Working alongside the global marketing team to create new global & regional marketing campaigns. I am also responsible for guiding our junior designers and ensuring all work meets our strict quality control. During my time at Talent I have played a vital part in our global brand refresh, creating a bold new look for the company that brings it straight into the modern day. I was responsible for creating the new brand book, providing the direction for Graphic Design & Brand Messaging, along with producing brand launch videos & animations to unleash our fresh new look to the world.Talent supplies thousands of tech and digital professionals annually to a diverse range of organisations through its offices across Australia, NZ, the UK, Germany and the US. From simple beginnings in 1995, Talent has always been on a journey to reinvent the world of recruitment through creating amazing customer and candidate experiences driven by a genuine desire to build long term relationships and outcomes. This motivation to break from the pack is stronger than ever as we roll out Talent Engage globally, an innovative life hub platform for freelancers based around rewarding loyalty and providing a range of professional and personal wellbeing programs. At Talent we see community impact and legacy as vital to our business, which is why we tackle social bias and attitudes. We do this through our charity Talent RISE which provides employment opportunities for young people experiencing barriers to employment, and programs like 100% Human at Work promoting the importance of diversity, equality and respect in the workplace. Talent is also an active member of Virgin Unite’s B Team with a particular focus on the challenges and opportunities associated with the Future of Work.

I have worked on a great number of different exciting projects as a freelance illustrator including commissioned paintings, large scale spray paint murals, illustration workshops and editorial illustration. I have also been involved in many live art events in nightclubs commercially, competitively and for charity. I have been a featured artist in Secret Walls Illustration battles, along with many street art events across the country including the incredibly successful City of colours street art festival & Bristol's huge Upfest festival.

After acquiring funding from the price’s trust, my business partner and I worked with a wide variety of clients creating unique visual identities, branding, promotional videos, animated motion graphics, high quality printed garments and more.

Dead Pens Crew started its journey as a free weekly illustration club, in which the participants would create artwork around a pre-determined theme. The class was a huge success and we hosted 2 series of workshops weekly @ The Newhampton Arts Centre.This project then evolved into a collaborative art group of the most dedicated members from the art classes. We went on to provide many different art workshops for kids in our local town centre and worked on large scale commissions for local big clients. We also participated in live art events all across the West Midlands.

As part of the Gecko programme, I was invited to Sevilla for a 2 month work placement as a Graphic Designer. I barely spoke any Spanish at the time and the experience vastly improved my communication and design skills. During the placement I created illustrations, posters, branding, icons and a series of DIY craft craft kits which can now be purchases all over Spain in FNAC stores. I also helped with art exhibitions, community workshops y mucho más.

Set in the misty forest of Vermont, 8 handpicked illustrators were invited to come together and create teepees, log cabins, zines & illustrations. We camped in the wilderness, showering in waterfalls, for the whole month without mobile phones or internet access. The experience was incredibly cathartic, I feel like my illustration skills evolved immensely along with my outlook on life.
