At ZipList, I significantly enhanced a platform that merges recipe discovery with shopping list management, securing key partnerships with brands like Martha Stewart and Conde Nast, and integrating with over 10,500 digital platforms. These enhancements improved user experience and created new advertising opportunities. I led the development of API and was instrumental in building our white-label solutions, enabling 125+ partnerships and extensive digital integration. My work also included NLU and ML features advanced recipe and shopping suggestions, trend analysis, and personalized recommendations. My contributions extended beyond product development to fundraising, partnerships, client support, and M&A activities, driving ZipList's growth and innovation in digital recipe and shopping solutions.

As the Director of Technology at Grab Media, formed from Anystream’s acquisition of Voxant, I played a critical role in leading the technology direction during a transformative period that saw Anystream’s enterprise software division sold to Telestream. I oversaw the integration of teams and technologies from the merging entities to architect a message-oriented SaaS platform, ensuring its robust deployment across co-located data centers and the cloud. My leadership in developing “Spinal Tap,” a state-of-the-art video analysis and automation system, redefined the rapid capture, analysis, and syndication of broadcast news content. This innovative system, designed for high scalability and centralized management, utilized advanced ML algorithms for media and audio analysis, including scene change detection, face recognition, OCR, and sentiment analysis. By leveraging cloud technology, Spinal Tap achieved unparalleled scalability and processing capabilities, leading the industry in knowledge discovery, data mining, and content indexing. My collaborative efforts with product management, sales, and senior leadership ensured that platform development was strategically aligned with business objectives, significantly enhancing the Grab Media syndication network and boosting engagement through contextual advertising and video discovery services.

at Anystream, I significantly contributed to the evolution of an enterprise software suite that became a cornerstone for over 600 media companies across 38 countries, leading up to its acquisition by Telestream. This suite, designed to streamline digital content management and monetization, facilitated efficient content distribution across diverse platforms and devices, meeting the dynamic needs of the media industry. My journey began at Cauldron Solutions, a New York City startup, where as a Senior Software Engineer, I played a crucial role in expanding the company and its offerings, ultimately servicing over 50 enterprise media clients. This experience laid the groundwork for a leadership position in the 2007 merger with Anystream, where I led the integration of multidisciplinary teams, merging in-house and external resources to unify and enhance our flagship products, Velocity and Agility. My efforts in architecting Anystream Velocity revolutionized content production workflows, rights management, distribution optimization, and provided comprehensive reporting on media assets. My collaboration with NBC’s senior leadership during the 2008 Summer Olympics underscored Anystream’s integral role in delivering over 2,200 hours of live streaming and 3,000 hours of on-demand coverage. Additionally, my work on embedded-C applications for cable set-top boxes and the authoring of two patents in digital content management and entitlement systems showcased my capacity for technological innovation and product development across various platforms.

At MITRE's Federally Funded Research and Development Center,, I engaged in practical R&D efforts serving the Air Force, internal MITRE projects, and other government entities. My work spanned cutting-edge technologies including voice recognition and biometrics, interactive voice response services, mobile computing, information portals, identity management, and security enhancements. I also contributed to a patent for utilizing voice biometrics to sign and verify electronic documents.
