I have built a strong track record in legal executive search completing a variety of searches to Partner level for international law firms based in Europe and the Asia Pacific. I was Director of Asia Legal Private Practice at Pure Search and subsequently founded and ran my own legal executive search firm whilst based in Hong Kong for close to a decade. On my return to the UK, I became a Director at VARO Partners based in London leading on Partner and Team searches in the areas of Corporate, Private Equity, Funds and Corporate Tax for leading UK and US law firms. I am currently a Director at Edward Drummond focusing on Partner and Team Search for international law firms based in the Europe, Asia Pacific and the USA. In addition to my legal executive search experience, I have also gained substantial legal services policy and strategy experience having led the Legal Services Policy team within the UK Legal Services and Innovation division at the Ministry of Justice in Whitehall. I advised the Lord Chancellor and Justice Ministers on legal services policy initiatives relating to COVID-19 recovery, EU Exit, court recovery and future regulation. I also gained further legal policy experience whilst working at the Administrative Office of the US Courts in Washington DC supporting the United States Supreme Court on legal policy matters.
