Lead a small group of software developers to develop tools that support biomedical researchers, particularly in the fields of proteomics, image analysis, and biostatistics. Our goal is to collaborate with researchers to enable them get the most utility and cost benefit out of their data via effective searching, analysis, visualization, and sharing of their data. Have lead the development of several impactful tools, including proxl for visualizing, analyzing, and sharing protein cross-linking data (http://proxl-ms.org/) and am currently leading the development of limelight, a data visualization and sharing tool for a broader set of proteomics experiments. Had the incredibly good fortune of being hired to work with a top-tier group of co-investigators working in a broad range of biomedical technologies, including mass spectrometry proteomics, fluorescence image microscopy, computational biology, protein structure prediction, and genomics. Collaborated with professors, students, and staff to develop data-driven web applications, data mining algorithms, and data visualization tools for the Yeast Resource Center (YRC) and UW Proteomics Resource (UWPR).
