I was picked up by CVIN when ITC Service Groups Contract ran out the 17th of April to continue what I have been doing the past year contracted with ITC. Field Inspector on the various work Segments in progress, placing 1 Future quad Micro Duct, and up to 3ea 1 ¼ Duct in different locations on the back bone for this project. Watching over construction crews to make sure build is done in compliance, making any needed recommendations and moves needed in initial design and other needs. Maintaining a daily field report and redlining daily work completed. Contractor reporting approvals from day’s work turned in as completed. Measuring footage's along route completed and yet to do and GPS locations, Assuring all HH’s and Tie-ins are done in compliance and BM’s are placed where needed. Also I have been doing USA Locate in all the southern segments from Madera south to Bakersfield and east and west from Lemoore down and Orange Cove south, using a Dynatel 3M 2573U Advanced Cable Pipe Locator. While doing Locate I also make detailed observations of the backbone for any items needing corrected or changed, taking pictures and notes sending to proper people my observations. (The Central Valley Independent Network, LLC), have put together a project plan designed to improve the availability of broadband networking infrastructure for 18 counties within the California Central Valley area.
