From the fast-paced newsrooms of CNN and NBC Los Angeles to filming reality TV shows around the globe to the new dynamic world of short-form video and social media content, my journey is never boring.I started my television career in my home state of Michigan as a TV news cameraman and editor. I also captured the spirit of academia making promotional videos for my alma mater, Michigan State University. The bustling energy of Los Angeles called next, and at NBC 4 LA, I wore many hats – from capturing live, high-speed freeway chases as a helicopter cameraman to editing multiple news stories daily, all under intense deadline pressures.The rise of reality TV opened new doors, allowing me to work on projects with budgets large and small, and reach audiences on just about every broadcast and cable network. As I honed my skills in cinematography, directing, producing, writing, and editing, I became an even more versatile storyteller, able to bring authentic and compelling narratives to life.With the explosion in popularity of shorter form video content, I now work with small and medium-sized business and craft compelling stories about their brands with authenticity.
