Mike Roudi brings over 30 years of experience in leadership roles in the telecommunications industry, envisioning and building product and go-to-market strategies that drive B2C and B2B business growth. He's served private, public and PE companies in developing business and operational plans for technology subscription-based revenue businesses. Mike’s success comes from an ability to identify new markets and technologies and then conceive and execute new business strategies that transform a company’s business model and drive bottom-line success.Mike’s career spans as an executive in companies such as AT&T (NYSE: T) and Time Warner Cable (NASDAQ: CHTR) with multibillion-dollar revenues to being CEO of a PE-backed broadband managed services company to growing his own successful consultancy business in the wireless market. He was a Board Director for WeFI, a Wi-Fi startup and an Advisory Board member for Rutberg & Company Investment Bank.Most recently, Mike was a part of CTS and ClearSky Technologies, two portfolio companies of Astra Capital. Mike joined Astra as a paid advisor to create an enterprise private wireless managed services business plan. His success led to being CEO at ClearSky. The company saw a 35% topline revenue growth in one year. Mike later led the successful merger and integration of ClearSky with CTS to form a nationwide private wireless network company. While at Time Warner, Mike was known as the “in-house entrepreneur” that built new businesses and was an innovator that monetized technologies into products and services that generated strong revenue. He ran TWC’s $6.5B broadband product portfolio. He also developed the inaugural wireless strategy, convincing executives to invest $1B to form a cable technology consortium to acquire a nationwide footprint of wireless spectrum. Mike then built and managed the company’s Wi-Fi strategy, deploying over 200,000 hotspots nationwide and managing $250M in capital expenditures. Mike attributes his business success to his leadership style that focuses on explaining “the WHY.” He spends more time talking about WHY we are doing something rather than WHAT needs to be done. A vision comes to life when you help people understand the end goal. Communicating "the WHY" ensures collaboration and buy-in.
