As a tax management professional, I have twenty-plus years of experience advancing the core goals of a rapid-growth industry leader in a complex corporate environment. Over a 25-year tenure with Imerys (initially English China Clays Inc.), I was integral in building a high-impact, value-added tax department influencing top-level business decisions and supporting expansion from eight U.S. companies to 25 acquired legal entities. In my role as Senior Tax Manager, I oversaw core tax initiatives in addition to serving as the primary liaison between the Tax department and IT. Leveraging both tax and technical expertise, I facilitated implementation and upgrade projects spanning tax provision, corporate tax software, and fixed asset management software and systems. I was recruited to English China Clays Inc. (later acquired by Imetal to form Imerys) as a Senior Tax Analyst. I progressed to Tax Manager prior to advancing to Senior Tax Manager over three direct reports at peak. I launched my career in Tax Analyst roles with Arthur Andersen. I hold a BBA in Accounting and a CPA designation.
