Working in the Digital Creative department, I am responsible for the development and deployment of the Cabela's brand online. I work with several internal departments to identify Cabela's needs in the digital space, both internally and externally, and provide strategic solutions and help see them through to completion. I am utilized in a 'special projects' regard and function highly as a Creative Strategist and have been tasked as the Digital Marketing channel lead to help drive strategy and bring awareness and collaboration between our creative services teams in Sidney, NE with our Digital Marketing channels in the foothills of Denver, CO. I have helped in several tasks from developing a set of common creative platform documentation to helping drive process improvement with our Traffic and Account Services department. My favorite part of the job is getting to work closely with my team in helping drive strategic, customer focused thinking into everything we touch.

I utilized high-level creative strategies to develop the look and feel of the Neebo brand across online and retail presences. I dictated a clean and concise messaging strategy that resonated well with guests and with the Neebo team in the field. I challenged myself and my team on a daily basis.By calling together a marketing focus group and initiating the complete redevelopment of a lackluster Creative Brief, we were able implement a better process that allowed more information to be obtained upfront and projects to begin more efficiently. I also developed a means for job tracking, as none existed prior. Utilizing free resources, I built a job entry and tracking system online that was used by the marketing/creative teams until our scale grew to the point at which we had to purchase a more sophisticated system.I took home Marketing, Merchandising, & E-Commerce Employee of the Year in 2014 and was promoted four times while with the company.

I was originally responsible for pre-press activities, including prepping art files, ripping and outputting plates for press production, and light Graphic Design work for clients. With the decline in business for Print companies, I learned web coding languages to help expand the company offerings and increase revenue.
