One of Western Canada’s Largest Computer Stores during this era, Doppler Computer Superstores was my first opportunity to be part of a team responsible for retail decision making versus retail execution. Along with my direct reports, we were responsible for managing inventory health, inventory levels, monitoring loss prevention and improving store level merchandising direction. I helped influence a number of methodology changes to inventory levels, replenishment and assisted in development of software tools that improved Annual Inventory Turns substantially.

Working my way up from Grocery Clerk into Management, I held several different positions and responsibilities over the course of my career at Safeway. This organization helped me sharpen my interpersonal and communication skills solving customer queries/grievances. I experienced first-hand managing a high volume business; customers, transactions, employees, performance reporting and inventory.
