- I have taken on and developed business critical monthly financial close processes.- I act as the I.T liaison between the Business MI function and the I.T function, making sure that our file structure has sufficient capacity, representing Business MI in month I.T Service review meetings, and producing and editing the Business MI function teamsite, using SharePoint.- I am the Business MI claims contact with responsibilities for furthering our strategic and operational claims reporting across MS Amlin. This involves working closely with our claims function to ascertain their requirements, and collaborating with my colleagues in the Business MI function to enable the reporting.

I am responsible for the production of a variety of Management Information (MI) reports within the Statistics Department of Amlin Insurance.Using Microsoft Excel, Access and SQL Server Manangement Studio, in addition to existing and legacy applications from some of Amlins acquisitional purchases I extract reports, manipulate data and present the output in a format that our Senior Managers and Directors can use in order to build a view of our own, and coverholders, performance.-In order to perform this role I often need to liaise with our claims, finance and Underwriting Management departments to collate each departments data into a comprehensive report covering premium, claims, credit control, EPI monitoring and earned and incurred loss ratios.-In addition to regular reporting tasks I often conduct reconciliation of Amlins systems and processes in order to illustrate the accuracy of the data, and to refine and develop existing procedures to make them more streamlined.-I have put in place a report detailing the lifecycle of a claim, by handler, team and location which is used in the objective management of our claims handlers.

-Focal Point for the receipt and production of MI reporting compiled from each of our foreign coverholders, QBE European Branches and their DUA’s, using bordereaux and other financial/policy information. This covers claims, finance, reinsurance and underwriting statistics and is used by Senior Management and the Board to maintain, develop and improve upon the performance of each of the branches and coverholders.Liaising with Lloyds brokers, foreign coverholders and country managers to set up and improve their reporting into QBE.Responsible for all Lloyds reporting including coverholder questionnaires, ATLAS, and RDS.DUA Management of International Motor DUA's including liaising with stakeholders to manage the completion of Lloyds slips at new business and renewal.Monitoring bordereaux and receipt of premium against terms of trade and subsequent placing of premium signings through Xchanging.

Responsible for the production of MI to the board detailing the company's performance against objectives and used to shape the underwriting, pricing and claims strategies of the business
