Technical management responsibilities for systems integration testing of the first deployments of VoIP over the cable TV HFC infrastructure, compliant to the PacketCable standards. I verified and tested end-to-end first function and features as was eventually deployed, including 3rd party vendor components and PSTN interconnect.I was responsible for all technical marketing demonstrations of end-to-end VoIP at NCTA, SCTE, CableLabs and various other venues.Earlier, I worked in the voice test tools.development group. We created tools that ran on FreeBSD and Tcl/Tk which emulated a router serving to test hardware and software in advance of a router platform and ios availability.
