Following a COVID-19 career shift, I was able to pivot into this Operations role allowing me to take on a new experience. While learning a new role, I was able to strategically deliver on time performance through the 40% increase in holiday demand, and expand our e-commerce sales channels by 50%. Alluding to this, inventory planning and forecasting proved to be a strength of mine as I was able to appease large, short term private orders, with 100% success, based on strategic calculations of required stock.The development of COVID-19 forced the sales and operations department to think outside the box to ensure all staff could remain employed and sales were leveraged enough to sustain projected growth. By finalizing and implementing our OCIA Organic Certification, I was able to assist the sales team with landing a wholesale distributor among other notable key accounts.Lastly, as the leader of a small team, my skills in communication, leadership, and management have continued to grow and evolve in many ways ensuring that all roles remain dynamic, relatable, and fulfilling.
