This effort involved engineering teams in Princeton, NJ, Manchester, NH, San Francisco, CA and Redwood City, CA. This project required broad management skills and a deep understanding of customer needs. I was responsible for defining clear responsibilities for designing and building the underlying technology behind these applications. I acted as a focal point for the tradeoffs that needed to be made between time to market, quality and the implementation depth of the various product features.• Kana had a very successful IPO in 1999 and remains a public company.
