Responsible for systems and change, product development, data and management information, premises, and facilities across a £180m+ GWP MGA, which included:- implementing Small Change Framework and Azure DevOps for improved visibility and reporting, and reduced cost for IT Small Change and Data & MI- management of a significant CAPEX budget and associated projects / programmes- IT supplier relationship management- selection of a new core underwriting platform and developed in-house product development capability

Launching and growing a new internal MGA for PIB Group businesses, utilising existing expertise from Q Underwriting to support internal brokers within the Group, which included:- responsibility for P&L and CAPEX / investment- launch of three new products in 18 months (including introduction of new capacity), with four more in the pipeline for the next 12 months- integration of two existing binders into P&L – due diligence and divisionalisation – with more in the pipeline - launch of a new underwriting sub-division for Q Underwriting (financial lines)

Responsible for marketing, digital distribution and platforms, product development, and agency management. My role included management of multiple teams, significant budgets, and large-scale projects. Involved from the conception of Q Underwriting in 2018, I led the brand development before joining Q as Head of Development, which included:- restructuring and in-housing marketing, leading to a significant reduction in cost and improvement in quality and quantity, and control.- establishing a new sales and marketing office in Chelmsford for the central marketing team, and launching a telephone-based Broker Development team as part of my digital digitalisation initiative- managing our COVID-19 communications and broker support activities- being heavily involved in the delivery of a division-wide Acturis migration project including ownership of the distribution and agency workstreams- leading a product development project delivering 3 products from two new carriers in 12 months- designing and lead implementing a bespoke, integrated CRM Most recently, I managed the delivery of a brand hive-up and refresh project to remove our legacy trading brands.

Responsible for all marketing and communications at aQmen Underwriting (an underwriting business / MGA with specialist charity, faith and recruitment combined products) and CaSE Insurance (a retail insurance broker targeting the charity sector), both of which were acquired by PIB Group in September 2017.The majority of my role with aQmen Underwriting was concieving and leading the implementation of broker-focused communications and distribution initiatives to build our market share and become brokers' preferred market for our niche areas. This role saw me deliver numerous wins including- multiple website rebuilds (both wholesale and retail) and retail quotation journey build- building a library of risk management support information for brokers' clients;- partnering closely with Aviva's Community Fund to promote our brokers and their clients, - launching branded content on a number of industry partner websites - developing a Broker Hub portal for secure distribution of / broker access to policy, marketing and support materials.

Reigate Stepping Stones is a local registered charity which runs a social group for people who suffer from mental health problems; we work with and link into further service provision from partner organisations and healthcare providers. I am a trustee and also sit on the board of the associated company.

Whilst still responsible for marketing at aQmen Underwriting, I led a Group-wide website re-platforming and integration project for over a dozen web properties across PIB Group; I scoped and helped design the hosting solution, re-platformed a number of sites myself and managed the project through to completion before handing over to a newly-created in-house web team.

Responsible for executing and reporting on marketing campaigns for a range of B2B and B2C clients in sectors such as Learning and Development, Cyber and Technology. This role included client-facing consultancy and supporting client management teams with strategy and planning; some account management responsibilities and delivery of marketing plans for a number of clients. I specialised in digital marketing and was the agency lead on social media management and growth; I also worked extensively across web, technical SEO, content, CRM and PPC. Other areas of involvement include Email Marketing and events.
