About Mike Slane

I am a design and animation director, specializing in playful and stylish mixed media work. My approach incorporates a wide range of techniques, including stop motion, puppetry, set design, illustration and 3D animation. I direct and produce commercial campaigns, educational shorts, design and storytelling for non profits and documentary films. Among my clients are Sesame Workshop, Nick Jr, Colorado Tourism, The Denver Art Museum and the American Institute of Graphic Arts. I work as an independent studio of one, as a freelance artist and director, and as the directing duo Practice.
