I am a Product Designer with a burning passion for helping people through products and/or services.I strongly believe that one person can come up with an idea and execute it, however, in order to reach the full potential of the idea, co-creation and collaboration is needed. Therefore, I put teamwork first, and as a Design & Innovation student, I am used to working with different disciplines and stakeholders. Furthermore, I believe that radical innovation arrives when unaddressed user needs are combined with new technology. Additionally, sustainability is an important subject, which is why I want to incorporate sustainable development methods into design processes. I want to know what and how users think to get new perspectives, before seeking out technological solutions. As a design engineer, I thrive in all phases of the development process, from identifying user needs to translating them into new products and/or services that generate new business opportunities. From my bachelor's degree, I worked with user-oriented design, redesign, design of mechatronics, and systems design. To support the design process I acquired skills in programming, visualization, CAD- and hand drawing. In 2017 I went on exchange to Universidad EAFIT, Medellín, Colombia, where I learned a lot about visual presentation and form-giving in the design process. Lastly, I used creative cloud (Adobe) throughout all of my studies, which is why I am experienced with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects. Right now I am studying Design and Innovation on my masters where I am specializing in product design where I worked with industrial-, robust- and interaction design.I am working at Mentor Danmark and have been working there for 1,5 years, however, I want to pursue knowledge in my field which is why I am looking for a new job or internship that can help my development as a design engineer. My primary interests are: User-oriented and related design, both research and development phase. Industrial design and prototyping.
